The WildEyre Project Boundary

The boundary of the WildEyre region has evolved over time and is based on a combination of scientific understanding of geology, climate, vegetation, wildlife and human cultures in this part of the world. It is also based on the education and experience of the landholders, WildEyre working group, and others that have been involved with WildEyre since its inception.

The WildEyre boundary is considered to be a ‘soft’ boundary… a place to start. Nature is complex, interconnected and does not follow administrative boundaries, so it’s never possible to say where one ecosystem ends and another begins – hence why WildEyre have employed a landscape scale approach to conservation and land management in this area.
